Moje dvě firmy podporují pravidelně školu v Mulbekhu. Celý život jsem se pohyboval v bussiness sféře a chtěl jsem udělat něco dobrého a škola v Mulbekhu se mi zdála jako super volba.

Jsem rád, že jsem se podíval do Ladakhu a měl jsem možnost ho poznat i jinak než z pohledu běžného turisty.  Bylo příjemné poznat Ladačany blíž, protože jsou to vesměs velmi milí lidé, i když spolupráce s nimi není vždycky úplně perfektní podle našich měřítek. Ale na to jme byli upozorňováni předem. Atmosféru a spolupráci s ostatními dobrovolníky v Mulbekhu hodnotím negativně.

I expected to be taken aback by the place - and I was.

I expected to see a different way of life – and I did.

I expected to leave a piece of my soul there – and it happened.

I expected to find out what real beauty is – I did when I saw old grandmas dancing

I expected I would be teaching – but I was mainly learning.

I had no particular expectations going to Mulbekh but now I know it was one of the best decisions I have made. Staying long term at one location gave me the opportunity to become part of the society and it was truly and honestly my home for the couple of months. There is sufficient time for traveling around the Ladakh in between the school holiday or when agreed with the principal. The children are very smart and the work with them is very motivating. I have made a lot of friends. There is plenty of room for personal development – studying books, visiting monastery, trekking, traveling.
