Proč přispěli

I decided to help because I was impressed by the project. Schools like this represent some of the best of humanity in my opinion. It is so easy for privileged people like myself to take education for granted, and given this opportunity to help educate a child for three years at an extremely low cost, I accepted. It was especially important for me to be able to sponsor education for girls.

I want to help children who want and have the motivation to learn and study

As a teacher and social worker I know how important is education for the child. I thing that development adoptions is an appropriate way to provide education to children who live in a much more complicated living conditions.

In this capitalist society, I think it's important to make circulate help and show solidarity towards people from other countries who don't have the same possibilities as us. I think that every child in the world has the right to education and equal opportunities. It's a way to show respect aswell and to be opened minded to other cultures.

V oblasti Ladakh jsem byla jako dobrovolník s Brontosaury v roce 2008. Od té doby s obdivem a nadšením sleduji, jak se projekt rozvíjí. Podporu výstavby internátu v Mulbekhu vnímám jako smysluplnou, a to především z toho důvodu, že česko-indická spolupráce skvěle funguje. Můžu si zkrátka být jistá tím, že veškeré peníze budou využity efektivně a v souladu s potřebami místních.
